Editorial Policy

Every page on Symbols Help has one job: give you the right symbol and the exact steps to type it. This policy explains how pages are made and kept correct.

Sources we use

  • The Unicode Standard for each symbol’s name, code point and HTML code.
  • Official help pages from Microsoft, Apple and Google for keyboard shortcuts and app steps.
  • Our own checks. We copy each symbol into common apps to see how it looks.

How a page is made

  1. We pick a symbol people search for and need.
  2. We collect its codes and typing steps from the sources above.
  3. A draft is written. Some drafts are prepared with help from AI writing tools.
  4. Muhammad Ilyas reviews every draft, checks each code and step against the sources, and edits it before publishing.
  5. The page goes live with its tool, its steps and a short FAQ.

Keeping pages up to date

Apps and keyboards change. We review pages when an operating system or app changes how a symbol is typed, and update the page.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email hellomyaisteps@gmail.com with the page link. We check every report and fix confirmed errors as soon as possible.

Independence
